I love Hass avocados and know that avocados in general, are very good for you. They are a wonderful addition to healthy eating in the New Year too. To get more of this rich goodness, I have been trying out some new flavors by Wholly Guacamole, America’s #1 refrigerated guacamole made with hand-scooped Hass avocados and fresh ingredients.
Wholly Guacamole began back in 1989 when Don Bowden was looking for a way to have ready to serve guacamole available at his Mexican restaurants. The problem with guacamole and other foods made from avocados is that they start to brown shortly after cutting open the avocado unless you can prevent them from being exposed to air. Don Bowden developed High Pressure Processing (HPP) Technology to preserve ready made guacamole.
Wholly Guacamole has recently released three new flavors: Margarita, Chipotle Lime, and Sriracha. They still have Classic, Spicy, and Homestyle also available.
Wholly Guacamole comes in these easy peel-and-serve trays. I can snack generously alone or certainly share an 8 oz. tray. As far as the new flavors go, my husband and I love Sriracha, but it’s not one we can share with our kids because they consider it “too spicy”. They don’t mind Chipotle Lime and Margarita.
Wholly Guacamole makes a great snack to nosh on during the game with friends or to serve at holiday parties too. If you are looking for a portion controlled snack, Wholly Guacamole Minis are 100 calories for on the go snacking. Wholly Guacamole is available in the refrigerated section at retailers nationwide.
