Once in a while I like to make homemade bread and other foods that start off as a dough. Did you know that there was a whisk made specifically for the use in dough? I was not aware of it until I had the offer to try the Kitchen Simple Danish Dough Whisk out a few days ago. My daughter and I tried it out recently with making the dumpling dough for knoephla soup.
A regular whisk usually gets hung up with large clumps of dough stuck in it. This whisk has wires that are spaced out farther and are larger in diameter. It goes through the dough almost effortlessly and there are no clumpy balls of dough to pull out. I used to resort to a silicone spatula or wooden spoon to mix dough, but I have found my new buddy in the kitchen for breads, pasta dough, etc.
The dough whisk can be cleaned off with a sponge, soap, and water. You don’t want to put items made of wood in the dishwasher. They swell and warp. The base of the whisk is made of food grade stainless steel.
Kitchen Simple has 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of their products. The large Danish Dough Whisk currently retails for $8.95 on Amazon.com.
