Last month, When Calls the Heart: It Begins with Heart was released on DVD. This is the first title from season 3 of When Calls the Heart that currently airs on the Hallmark Channel.
You may have caught me sharing other titles from the series in the past. If not, this series is based off The Love Comes Softly series by Janette Oke and is produced by Michael Landon, Jr. Erin Krakow (Army Wives), Daniel Lissing (Eye Candy), Lori Loughlin (Full House, 90210) and Jack Wagner (Melrose Place) star in When Calls The Heart: It Begins With Heart.
In this installment, Hope Valley takes on a celebration for the New Year. Abigail is trying to pinpoint who or what has been stealing food and milk from her kitchen and later takes in two orphans.
Elizabeth takes care of Rip , Jack’s Bassett, to try to remedy him of his bouts of jealousy stemming from Jack and Elizabeth’s advancing relationship. It’s hard to steal a kiss when a dog chimes in with a rumbling bark!
Rosemary had entered an essay contest about a “real frontier family” with the San Francisco Herald and won. A reporter from the paper comes to Hope Valley to do a follow-up article on her piece. Rosemary had overlooked one minor stipulation for entry – contestants in the essay contest needed to be married! When the reporter arrives, Lee gets roped into posing as her husband.
Bill Avery is behind bars still and is trying to convince Jack that he is not the guilty party for counterfeiting. Meanwhile, two visitors come to town and start causing trouble for both Jack and Pastor Frank.
This is great installment and I look forward to seeing more on how the story unfolds. I love the chemistry behind Jack and Elizabeth and hope it continues to advance.
