Vinyldisorder.com Review

Vinyldisorder.com produces customized vinyl designs.  Their product list includes: vinyl decals, sports stickers, banners, vehicle lettering, graphics for dirt bikes and sport bikes, vehicle graphics, band music stickers, website decals, boat lettering, art for the walls of your home, business decoration, and more.  They also started making custom apparel.

The ordering was fairly simple.  You can select the size, font style, coloring of lettering.  It can be done with up to six lines of text.  I selected the material type for cars, which works for pretty much everything or you can also select for walls, which is removable.  I don’t remember the exact turn-around time, but it seemed rather prompt.
To make sure the decals adhere correctly, you should rub it down first with the hard squeegee that was included with the order or a credit card.  The decals are made up of three layers:  the top layer or transfer tape, a vinyl sticker in the central layer, and the bottom layer, which is wax paper.

Make sure the area you will apply it to is clean, smooth, and dry.  It was recommended to center the letters and secure the design with masking or painter’s tape at the middle section and top of each corner.  The tape became a workable hinge when applying the vinyl.
We used white aluminum coil that will be later mounted to a wooden sign.  The next step is to remove the backing.  This should be done slowly at a 45 degree angle for best results.

Use the squeegee or credit card again and firmly rub to make sure the sticker is adheres well to the surface.  Work from the center out on with rubbing over the sticker.

Slowly peel off the transfer tape at approximately a 45 degree angle.  Make sure no part of the sticker remains on the transfer tape.  You may have to rub more if the sticker sticks to the transfer tape.
 Here is the finished project!

The only issue I had with applying the sticker was some bubbles under the lettering/numbering.  I tried to put the transfer tape back down and was able to smooth some of them out with more rubbing or pushing the bubble to the outer edge of the lettering/numbering.  The edges got a really good seal before all the air got out.  It just took a bit more “elbow grease” and trial and error on my part.
I did have to make sure I measured from the lettering (like I picked an “o” and “e” that were the same height and measured from top of coil down to the selected letter) and not the border of the item when figuring location because it had been cut around the lettering and not square.

To learn more about the application process, you can go to www.vinyldisorder.com, e-mail CS@vinyldisorder.com, or call 1-866-723-3726.

Vinyldisorder.com makes the decals out of a type of vinyl that has a life expectancy of over six years.  Their vinyl stickers can be used on pretty much any smooth, hard surface – boats, cars, trucks, windows, mailboxes,  mirrors, a wall, pretty much anywhere.
