Last month, I started our mini-van one morning and found that a sensor was giving me a warning and the cooling fan was running in the dead of MN winter. My spouse checked under the hood and found several wires had been chewed on and two wires to the air sensor were completely severed! My husband was thankfully able to do the repairs.
Fast forward three days. I heard a ‘tick’ ‘tick’ after starting the mini-van and so I looked under the hood. I saw sparks flying! I immediately shut off the vehicle and my spouse had another project. Here four of the six spark plug wires had been chewed through! I was ready to wage war with what I thought was a mouse, but found it odd due to have three altered pole shed cats already as mouse control. Well, about a week later, my husband found that a woodchuck had decided to make our pole shed its home and eliminated it. It may not have been a mouse causing all the damage, but I am still on my guard against rodents of all sizes, especially when they cause a bunch of damage to my vehicle! I was allowed to review Victor’s Tri-Kill Moustrap as means of controlling nuisance mice.
To help control unwanted mice, Victor, a world leader in rodent control, has recently introduced the Victor Tri-Kill Mousetrap. This little guy is equipped with three entrances and the ability to kill up to three mice per setting.
To use, simply bait the trap with peanut butter on the bottom side of the trap (area marked with BAIT written on it), preferably with peanut butter and place along a wall where you suspect the rodents to be frequently visiting. Once the mouse triggers the bar, the jaw springs closed for a quick, humane kill.
Victor’s Tri-Kill Mouse Trap has multiple entrances to increase the likelihood of success in eliminating rodents, making it economical and efficient. After one or more mice have been caught, the trap can be discarded or emptied and washed before resetting.
Here is a picture of the top of the trap when trap has been hit and sprung on at all three traps.
There are no chemical or poisons used in Victor’s Tri-Kill Mouse Trap. I like that the set-off and kill mechanism is internal for less chance of harm to pets and my fingers.
I did move the location of the Victor Tri-Kill Mouse Trap to a garden shed on our property and I am happy to report success with this device. We have one less rodent destroying things. Yea!
A 3-pack of Victor Tri-Kill Mouse Traps have a suggested retail of $14.99 on Victor’s website at www.victorpest.com.
