Here is a cute reading idea for children that is perfect for summer and avoiding summer slide – VeggieTales SuperComics. You’ve probably seen these cute veggies sharing important messages adapted from the Bible. Now children can follow their favorite characters with SuperComics.
Each of the VeggieTales SuperComics contain three stories. One of the three stories will be a brand new never before seen LarryBoy story.
The imagery is true to form with great colors and cute jargon like in the movies. My six-year-old and eight-year-old have enjoyed looking through these stories a lot.
I received volumes 1 and 2 to sample. Volume 1 includes: Dave and the Giant Pickle, Lyle the Kindly Viking, and LarryBoy and the Prideosaurus. Volume 2 includes: League of Incredible Vegetables, LarryBoy and the Reckless Ruckus, and Josh and the Big Wall.
Each volume is priced at roughly $11-12 each and is recommended for ages 4-8. VeggieTales SuperComics can be purchased on Amazon and other nationwide retailers. The titles began release in February 2015.
