VAPUR / The Anti-Bottle

Vapur - The Anti-Bottle The Anti-Bottle
THE FOLDABLE WATER BOTTLE!

The Vapur Anti-Bottle is a reusable water bottle that is foldable and designed for on-the-go use, anywhere.  The Anti-Bottle is different than other bottles by being made to be flexible.  It stand upright when full, but can be rolled, folded, or flattened when empty.  The feature of flexibility makes it very easy for transport into a backpack, cargo pants pocket, or even your purse.
The Vapur Anti-Bottle is made in the U.S.A. Yea!  It has a carabiner that is included and allows you to clip it onto almost anything.  It also features a writable area on the back to personalize the Anti-Bottle.  The inner layer is FDA approved and is odor, taste, and stain resistant.  The Anti-Bottle is freezable and BPA free too.
I love the portability of the anti-bottle.  The only downfall I found was cleaning it.  It is top rack dishwasher safe and can be air dried or washed by hand with soap and water.  The neck of the bottle makes it difficult to give it a thorough cleaning.  I found myself putting soapy water in it, capping it off, and swishing the soapy solution around and dumping out, and to finish by air drying.  I wasn’t able to actually scrub inside.
The Vapur Anti-Bottle retail price starts at $9.99 for a .5 L size and come in a variety of colors for the original Vapur.  There is .4 L fun-size that comes as a two pack, a .5 L artist series, and there are optional sweaters you can purchase for your Vapur Anti-Bottle.  The link to Vapur’s online store is here.
Here is some info from Vapur’s website discussing the dilemma with bottle water and what Vapur is personally doing to help out:

What’s Wrong with Bottled Water?

Every year, 200 billion bottles of water are consumed globally. Unfortunately, only about 12% of these will be recycled, leaving 176 billion plastic bottles to be dumped in landfills or left to float in the ocean.
Yet, tap water costs 240 to10,000 times less than bottled water. Unlike the bottled water companies, many municipal utilities test tap water hundreds of thousands of times a year and report their results to state and federal agencies. Shockingly, 24% of bottled water is actually just repackaged tap water.
While we pay for branded tap water, over 1.2 billion people around the world don’t have access to clean water. Every year, over 5 million people die of water-related diseases. Hundreds of thousands of other children are affected in ways that statistics can’t measure. They suffer from poor health, diminished productivity and missed educational opportunities. Children, especially young girls, are the ones who must fetch their family’s daily supply of water. The money spent on disposable bottled water could help provide safe drinking water to billions of people around the world who would otherwise not have access to it.

What We’re Doing to Help

Vapur is committed to raising awareness about the global water crisis and empowering people to make a difference through their own purposeful drinking choices. We have joined the 1% For The Planet program, giving a portion of all Vapur sales to water-related causes. We are also working with charitable groups around the world to help make disposable bottles obsolete and clean water more available than ever.
