I had the opportunity to recently sample Tradewinds iced teas in unsweet and green tea with honey.
Tradewinds tea is made from the finest tea leaves that are put in tea bags and steeped in kettles. This process allows the natural antioxidants to remain in Tradewinds iced tea.
I do like to have a cup of tea from time to time at home, like Tazo or Lipton. I always use tea bags. Usually I have my tea unsweetened, but if I do sweeten, it is usually with a spoonful of honey.
After refrigeration, I sampled the two bottles I was sent.
Unsweet Tea: This tea uses black tea leaves. This Ohio based company knows how to make a flavorful unsweetened tea! It’s awesome.
Green Tea with Honey: This green tea is sweetened with both honey and sugar. I thought this flavor was pretty good too – very refreshing.
The Tradewinds Unsweet Tea was my favorite of the two with no calories and no sugar. Then I can still have dessert and not feel so guilty. Tradewinds currently makes eight flavors of iced tea to enjoy.
Tradewinds does not use high fructose corn syrup or corn syrup in their beverages. Sucralose is used in a few of their drinks. They also make Tradewinds Tropicals, which are refreshing fruit drinks, currently in mango and tropical punch.
