In honor of Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Dexter came to us for a spring break adventure. Unfortunately, our youngest was ill so we had to show Dexter some of the local sites this past week. If you don’t know Dexter, he is a mischievous Capuchin monkey from the Night at the Museum trilogy.
Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb was released on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital HD on March 10th. I had seen the two previous installments and was excited to see where their next adventure would take them with Secret of the Tomb. I am also big fan of the late Robin Williams and so it was nice to see him in one of his last performances as well as the beloved Mickey Rooney.
In the movie, Dexter goes down the heat vents looking for Jedediah and Octavius with a cell phone fastened to his back so Larry can track him with the GPS function. He checked out the bee boxes and saw it was too cold for them to be active. On average the honey bees like to come out when it is 65º or warmer.
While Dexter was here, he found the girls’ Barbie car and took it for a spin.
He also tried to escape off to school in Jayden’s backpack.
At the end of the week, Dexter decided to pack his bag and ready his passport for a trip back to the British Museum to visit part of the gang that stayed behind.
It has been fun to mess around with the
troublesome Dexter. To find other places Dexter has visited, look up hashtag #TrackDexter and be sure to catch him in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.
