I had received some of the new Tide Pods for review from Mom Spark Media. Tide Pods are a compact dose of hard water modifiers, stain fighters, perfume, and whitener all in one.
You simply place one pac in the drum of your washing machine, add laundry, and start the load. You can add a second pac if you have a really dirty load. This product works in all machine types and in either hot or cold water.
I wash probably almost a load a day. My son is in cloth diapers most of the time and I was glad to see how Tide Pods worked in cold water on the delicate cycle to clean and deodorize the diapers. They seemed to work well at cleaning and keeping white socks bright and handling stains, like regular Tide would. I did not have any issues with this product not dissolving and liked the scent of the Spring Meadow I was sent to sample. I don’t have a probably measuring or pouring liquid detergent at home, but could see a plus with Tod Pods if you had to take your laundry out, like to a laundromat, and having less weight to lug around than with a bottle.
Tide Pods are available in three scents: Spring Meadow, Ocean Mist, and Mystic Forest. This product was released March 2012. Suggested retail for Tide Pods is $9.99 for a 35 count and there are other sizes also available. Keep Tide Pods away from children and pets.
