I grew up reading the newspaper comic strip of Garfield and his search for the best tasting lasagna or just ways to trick Jon into feeding his belly with delicious food. I read recently that the Guinness World Records declared it was “the most widely syndicated comic strip in the world” on www.thegarfieldshow.com.
The Garfield Show: Pizza Dreams was released by Vivendi Entertainment. This production is based on the original characters by Jim Davis. I believe this is number eight for The Garfield Shows, which have been featured on the Cartoon Network and released on DVD.

My children have loved watching Garfield, Odie, and Jon on their adventures or may I should call it “misadventures”. It’s a favorite to take along on a long car ride in the van too. Overall, I think the graphics are great, I like that they don’t totally change the original characters, and adventures await future generations of orange fat cat loving fans.
