SunFeather Soaps was founded in 1979 by Sandy Maine. She combined her passion for fragrant and medicinal herbs with the intent and craftsmanship for soap making. She started the business in her own backyard.
Their natural soaps, creams, and balms are made from organic ingredients, like freshly pressed olive and avocado oils from the Mediterranean, edible coconut, palm, and castor oils from the Pacific Rim, sustainably harvested fair trade shea butter from Africa, dried herbs, botanicals, naturally derived colorants, essential and nature identical oils, butters, and waxes from around the globe.
The color, texture, and scent palettes they create must integrate artistic form and practicality. Artistry is very important to SunFeather Soaps. All of their products are hand packaged with labels they design. Their products are made in small batches, typically 25-100 lb. with traditional methods.
I was sent the sample bars pictured above to review. The bars are visually attractive and being a bar soap, last quite a while. My favorite bar was lavendar and shea butter. It had a nice scent and look how pretty it is! SunFeather makes soaps for kids, a spruce and aspen bar for men, and one I would like to try for this time of year is a gardener’s soap. If bar soaps are not your thing, SunFeather also makes castile soaps, bug repellents, and bath bombs too.

Disclosure: I received a sample pack from SunFeather Soaps for an honest review. No other compensation was received.
