DQ has a few new ways to delight your pocket-book and palate this summer. They are the first to offer light Orange Julius smoothies – eight new flavors and low in calories. They are made with real fruit and are a tasty way to stay fit this summer. DQ is also offering a value meal that includes an entrée, fries, drink and sundae for just $5.
The Dairy Queen $5 Buck Lunch value meal is available daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at participating locations. Fans have a choice for their $5 Buck Lunch of a ¼ lb. GrillBurger™ with cheese, 3-piece Chicken Strip Lunch or a Chili Cheese Dog, which are all served with fries, a beverage and choice of a sundae. For just $1 more, fans also will have the option to upgrade their small sundae to a small Blizzard® Treat.
All Orange Julius Light Smoothies, Premium Fruit Smoothies and Julius Originals are available in eight flavors including Orange, Strawberry, Strawberry Banana, Tripleberry®, Mango Pineapple, Berry-Pom, OrangeBerry and Piña Colada. Two different boosts, protein or fresh banana, can also be added to any Orange Julius drink. The Orange Julius Light Smoothies are made with real fruit, no artificial flavors or sweeteners and contain 170 calories or less in a small. The Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies are made fresh to order with real fruit, blended with low-fat yogurt and no artificial flavors.
I went to my local DQ yesterday and sampled the Orange Julius Light Smoothie in Mango Pineapple. It was sweet and refreshing. I love the flavor combination. Yum! I took my children to a local park and they had to come up to me and sample what I had purchased (they already had vanilla ice cream cones). Needless to say, I ended up sharing the latter half of my treat with them!
