Sprouts Cold Remedy

I am very thankful that my family and I don’t get sick very often (knock on wood).  I was sent Sprouts Cold Remedy to review, which is an herbal supplement made from kosher natural herbs to help shorten symptoms of the common cold.  To disclose the warnings printed on the bottle – do not take during pregnancy.  Keep out of the reach of children.  Shake well before using.  And also *This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

To use Sprouts Cold Remedy, it is recommended to take 1 ml (25 drops) 1-2 times per day in water or as needed.  The bottle I received is 2 fl. oz and is to provide 59 servings.

This product contains a proprietary herbal blend of the following: Echinacea purpurea Herb, Red Root, Green Tea Leaf, Elderberry Fruit, Thyme Herb, Red Clover Herb, Myrrh Gum, Orange Peel, Mullein Leaf, and Ginger Root.  The base of the formula is made of vegetable glycerin and deionized water.

Now I know the instructions say to take the product with water.  I tried a bit of it straight and it was an odd combination of sweet and bitter.  In water, it is barely notable.  It’s nice that this product comes in a glass amber bottle and the dropper is glass with a rubber bulb on top.  I wish there was an increment written on it for 1 ml.  25 drops takes a while to get out.  I would hate to be adding to my water and then be interrupted and lose count.  The night I tried this product straight, I had a touch of a sore throat and it wasn’t around the next morning so I can’t say for certain, but Sprouts Cold Remedy may have helped my feel better.

Sprouts Cold Remedy in 2 fl. oz. has a retail price of $29.99 through the company website.  It is $28.25 on Amazon.com.  If you are looking for a natural cold remedy, I certainly think this product is worth trying.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above in exchange for review from Giveaway Service website. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Reference ID: pm3557a86db669836730d946052d988e46
