I can’t believe school is almost here! One item that is great for students returning to school or college is the SOL REPUBLIC Tracks. Hey, adults may just want to have some fun with these too! 
SOL REPUBLIC Tracks come with a headband that is interchangeable, virtually indestructible, and provides always awesome delivery of sound.
Inside the package is the following:
- Two V8 Sound Engine™ Speakers with SonicSoft™ Ear Cushions – deliver deep base and crisp sound while being extremely comfortable
- One FlexTech™ Headband -made to withstand heavy use and is interchangeable with other Sol Republic headbands ordered separately
- Music and Phone Control Cable – has a 3.5 mm mini stereo plug with 3-button mic and music control that is compatible with Apple and most other devices.

Additional Cleartalk cables and sound engines (speakers) can be purchased for more customization too.
Once you have the components out of the box, simply slide the speakers onto the headband. 
There are L (left) and R (right) written on the headband and also the speakers to match. You can slide the headphones up or down on the headband to personalize the fit for your comfort.
The cables connect at the bottom of each speaker.
To use the remote control with standard products:
- One click during play will pause the music and another click resumes playback.
- If you receive a call while listening to music, just click the play button once to answer the incoming call and click again to end the call.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and the above functions work for me. I can also listen to music with Tracks plugged into my laptop. 🙂 Compatible Apple® products allow you to also do the following with SOL REPUBLIC Tracks:
- Play button twice quickly to track forward
- Play button three time to track backward
- Increase volume by pressing “+” button
- Decrease volume by pressing “-” button
During phone calls
- Press and hold down play button for about two seconds to decline an incoming call
- Click play button once to switch over to call waiting, click again to switch back to original call
