My husband had done a bit of domestic travel pre-kids and now that our crew is older and a little more independent, we would like to travel more again. One stop my children would love for us to consider is Walt Disney World®.
Orlandovacation.com asked me to check out their site and compare it to some of the other sites geared toward Disney/Orlando travel. I selected to build a custom vacation package off of their website. It was easy to navigate with just a couple of questions to customize the trip.
I did not realize two days was recommended as adequate time to visit the Magic Kingdom with small children like we would be doing. The website shared this information as I went through the questions in planning.

Then it was to look at hotels. For a budget hotel, I selected the Baymont Inn and Suites. I figured we would be out enjoying the sites and weather and hopefully not spending much time in our hotel room outside of sleeping. They had a shuttle to Walt Disney World® and were at an unheard of base price of $48/night.
Baymont Inn reservations were for a double deluxe with two queen beds through OrlandoVacation.com
I compared the same hotel at Expedia.com and it looked like all of us in one queen bed. I dislike that idea and I am guessing it would be an extra fee for a cot(s) to be placed in our room.
For the same hotel and maybe less space to sleep, it was $133.24 more than through Expedia. I did not include tax, which I thought would be the same per site, but it did vary.
I tried baymontinns.com too. The sleeping arrangements were better than Expedia. Whew!
The difference was $52.64 between Orlando Vacation and Baymontinns.com.
I was surprised that the prices would vary so much. Expedia has a “best price guarantee”, but the numbers show that they were beat out by the Orlando Vacation site.
Orlando Vacation has helped people plan Orlando vacations for over 30 years. It is a family run business based in Orlando, FL. They only provided travel discounts to Orlando. OrlandoVacation.com has been a member of the BBB since 1991. I looked them up today on bbb.org and they have an A+.
Currently OrlandoVacation.com has a spring special – $50 OFF your stay of 5 nights or more in any of their vacation homes or town homes.
