Second Act on Blu-ray and DVD

A few days ago, Second Act became available to own on DVD and Blu-ray. I received a copy of this title last week to review.

Jennifer Lopez stars as Maya Vargas, a woman who has just turned 40 and is being considered for a promotion at the big box store she works at in Queens. Maya’s fears become reality when she is passed over again for the promotion due to not having a college degree. Around this same time, her longtime boyfriend wants to propose, but she does not want to have kids due to a secret from her past and so they part ways.

To try and cheer Maya up, Joan, Maya’s (Leah Remini) fiery best friend, recruits her son to create false social media accounts, a website, and to complete a job application on her behalf for an opening with Franklin Clarke, a big product supplier to the big box store she is currently working at. Can Maya pull off this imaginary image or will it be better to come clean?
