In 1983, two childhood friends joined forces to represent products that were casual and very functional. They created ttu® (Table Tops Unlimited) -“Quality You Want – Styles You Crave – Prices You Need”. One of their brands is Rove®, which features products that are reusable, easy to use, and stylish. I was sent their 14 ounce double wall hot & cold hydration mug, 7 piece laptop Bento Lunch Box, and 20 Ounce Double Wall Flavor Infuser Tumbler to try.
The 7 piece laptop Bento Lunch Box includes: 1 Bento Box, 1 hinged lid with carrying handle, 1 5-section Bento insert, 1 leak-proof Bento insert lid, 1 fork and spoon, and 1 non-toxic removable freezer gel pack. The gel pack needs to go in the freezer before using to keep food cold and it does come out of the lid so you don’t need to put the entire top in the freezer.
Five items can be kept separate in the bento box. It is ideal for crudités. The center compartment is leak proof.
The plastic used for this item is BPA free. To clean, it can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher and is microwave safe.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much the bento box could hold. It has a suggested retail of $12.99.
The 14 ounce double wall hot & cold hydration mug by Rove® comes in a beautiful blue. To use, simply press down the white button on the center of the top. This opens the mug around the rim 360 degrees. I was a bit taken back initially and dribbled on myself at first because of not realizing how quickly the liquid can be dispensed. Thank goodness it was just water! The opening all the way around was a nice feature once I got the hang of it.
To close this mug, simple press the white button again to seal. It has a silicone seal ring to help prevent leaking. The hydration mug is double wall insulated so you should not notice condensation on the outside of it. The interior is made of BPA-free polypropylene. The exterior is stainless steel.
This mug should be hand washed only and is not microwavable. The hydration mug features a non-slip grip band and fits into most car cup holders. It has a suggested retail price of $7.99.
The 20 Ounce Double Wall Flavor Infuser Tumbler allows you to add your favorite fruit, vegetables, herbs, or flavored ice to the removable flavor pod that screws into the underside of the lid.
The tumbler is double wall insulated so you should not notice exterior condensation from this product too. The straw is curved and has a flare end to keep it in the tumbler. The lid has a silicone ring to provide a sturdy seal. A rubber band on the exterior makes it easy to grip.
The flavor pod provides quite a bit of room. Here is my recent combination of lemon slices and blueberries.
Simply screw the flavor pod onto the underside of the lid and then place into the tumbler and screw on for a well seated seal.
The tumbler is very convenient. I like flavoring my drinks with fruit and hope to try some added herbs this summer when gardening is available. I was able to add water for a refill and the fruit still provided a nice flavor. The infuser tumbler has a suggested retail price is $8.99.
