For this review, I was sent three bars of organic chocolate – Coconut Almond Creme Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt and Almonds, and Hot Habanero Mandarin Dark Chocolate. Each bar is 3 oz. and retails for $5 each.
Hot Habanero Chocolate Bar-70% Cocoa
Ingredients: Dark Chocolate (Sugar, Cocoa Butter, and Superior Cocoa Liquor), Habanero Powder, and Mandarin Oil. GMO & GlutenFree.
Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt & Almonds Bar – 70% Cocoa
Ingredients: Dark Chocolate (Sugar, Cocoa Butter and Superior Cocoa Liquor), Almonds, and Sea Salt. GMO & Gluten Free.
Coconut Almond Creme Milk Chocolate Bar – 41% Cocoa
Ingredients: Milk Chocolate (Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Whole Milk Powder, and Superior Cocoa Liquor), Almonds, and Coconut Oil . GMO & Gluten Free.
I thought all three bars were pretty smooth in texture. Since I am more of a milk chocolate fan, I preferred the taste of the rosieMade Coconut Almond Creme Milk Chocolate that featured small pieces of almonds.
When I tried the rosieMade Hot Habanero Mandarin Dark Chocolate, my six-year-old daughter wanted a piece of it. I told her she shouldn’t, but still insisted and quickly broke off her own section. She popped it in her mouth and after the piece had dissolved, she was running to the sink for a drink of water. This bar has a unique kick that sneaks up on you from its mild exterior! My husband loved this flavor, but regularly enjoys hot/spicy foods.
