Recently, I had the opportunity to review and sample Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil. To be honest, I was not aware of the multiple uses and benefits of using coconut oil until about a year ago. A friend had shared some awesome brownies that were made with coconut oil and this spurred my interest in learning more about virgin coconut oil.
My spouse does not like coconut so I have started disguising coconut oil in desserts and have to work up yet in adding it to main dishes. I love the scent and the smooth texture of Tropical Traditions.
Tropical Traditions has a great selection of recipes to give you inspiration. Here is a link explaining how to use coconut oil.
Along with cooking/baking with coconut oil, you can also use it to moisturize skin and hair.
Tropical Traditions makes their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil by hand, using a wet-milling process to extract the oil from only fresh coconuts, not mass produced from dry coconuts. They are the first to export virgin coconut oil from the Phillippines to markets here, in the USA. To learn more about Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil visit here.
