I had received The Classic Nursery Rhymes Collection on DVD to review with my children. This DVD features classics like “Pop Goes the Weasel”, “Old MacDonald”, “Humpty Dumpty”, and many more. It is a collection of 72 nursery rhymes and is also available on music CD and as digital downloads through iTunes and www.Amazon.com. This collection is available through www.classicnurseryrhymes.us.
It is a little hard to see her, but here is backside of my 3-year-old watching The Classic Nursery Rhymes Collection in our living room. Sorry for the mess! This DVD has been a repeat play request now by my 3-year-old since receiving it. My five-year-old wasn’t as interested in viewing the DVD a second time. The run time is 60 minutes.
This collection of classic nursery rhymes is brought to life by John Du Prez (A Fish Called Wanda, The Wind and the Willows, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I, II, and III, and others). The nursery rhymes in this collection are a mixture of animation, puppets, and live action with scenery that looks to be done on a blue screen.
If you get BabyFirst TV, they have acquired the rights to air clips of the Classic Nursery Rhymes Collection. This new series will be part of BabyFirst’s Art and Music daily block.
