Overall, I felt the Radius SCUBA did have a nice feel with the non-slip handle. It was somewhat of adjustment in holding the brush due to the shorter neck length. I liked the soft bristles and feel that the large head did a more suitable job with gently massaging my gums versus a conventional toothbrush, but made it harder for me to clean my back molars completely. This may not be a problem for others, but just was an issue for me, personally.
The SCUBA did a great job with brushing the tongue. It may be a bit harder to find a travel/storage case outside of through Radius directly due to its unique shape.
The Radius SCUBA is to last up to nine months, up to three times longer than a regular toothbrush. Radius recommends you change your toothbrush when the bristles start to lay over or fray. It is recommended to clean the SCUBA in a solution of 50/50 water and hydrogen peroxide, sitting 10-15 minutes before rinsing. SCUBA is completely BPA free.
The SCUBA is American Dental Association “accepted” for preventing gingivitis and removing plaque. To check out the Radius SCUBA more for yourself, visit here.
