Review: Dirty Jobs

April 29, 2012 by Karen

I am sure many of you have heard of Mike Rowe.  Mike has had the opportunity to travel all over the 50 states and along the way, meeting many hard working people who aren’t afraid of getting dirty, Dirty Jobs.
Along with messes on the job, there are many dirty jobs that take place with cleaning our home.  Now there is a cleaning line based off of the TV program, Dirty Jobs.  I had the opportunity to review Dirty Jobs Complete.
Dirty Jobs Complete arrived at just the right time.  My family was dealing with some awful GI bug at the time that led to a lot more laundry.  This product is safe for standard and HE washers.  We have an HE washer so I added 2 oz. per large load and was pleased how it didn’t add any extra scent to the clothing, but did a good job getting the job done.  I think it even helped with brightening whites too, like socks and a few of my spouse’s work shirts.  Dirty Jobs Complete works in any temperature and is to be added in before adding the laundry to the load.

One nice feature to Dirty Jobs Complete is that it is multi-purpose.  Along with a laundry booster, it can be used to clean bathroom surfaces, become a pre-treater for stains, clean upholstery and fabrics, and also function as a carpet spot remover.  I did make up a spray bottle to clean my stainless steel faucet and kitchen sink.  I could see it foam up a little on contact with the surfaces and then after wiping away, it had removed the water spots and dirt.

Dirty Jobs Complete comes with a build in handle to
easily transport the bucket, which is 52 oz.  It has a suggested retail of $10.95.

It comes with a measuring scoop marked with 1, 2, or 3 oz increments.  Six ounces is needed to mix with 1 gallon of water, which is used to clean carpets.  Otherwise, it is usually just 2 oz. per quart of water to clean most jobs.

Dirty Jobs Complete has a higher concentration of oxygen-powered enzymes compared to other products to cut through tough grime, grease, dirt, and stains.  It is safe for colors and contains no chlorine bleach nor ammonia.  This formula is biodegradable and non-toxic.

The Dirty Jobs line of cleaning products may be purchased online or at Walmart stores nationwide.
America’s dirtiest jobs have to get clean and My Dirty Jobs, LLC has found a way to clean the messiest disasters of carpet stains, laundry stains or general messes with a brand new line of household cleaning products that gets everything squeaky clean. Inspired by his own show, Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel, Mike Rowe became involved with MyDirty Jobs, LLC because of the effectiveness of the products are and the creators were open to a new way of marketing the products that appealed to him; they didn’t demonize dirt.  The real message is whether it’s as a result of work or play, it’s okay to get dirty.  After all, it washes off.

Disclosure:  I received Dirty Jobs Complete for this review.  The thoughts and feelings expressed are my own.  No other compensation was received in order to produce this review.
