Who doesn’t like the opportunity to whiten their teeth? It’s a fairly inexpensive way bring on an attractive, youthful smile.
I received the Rembrandt Intense Stain Dissolving Strips and Toothpaste for this review. Since I had tried Crest a few months ago through Influenster, I thought it best to try it out on my spouse. He has not used a product to whiten his teeth in years. If you are not familiar with Rembrandt, this brand was developed in 1987 – “Be Your Brightest”.
Rembrandt Intense Stain is to remove deep stains from coffee, smoking, and red wine. My husband does not smoke and only occasionally drinks red wine. He is an avid coffee drinker.
The Rembrandt Intense Stain has a suggested retail of $7.99 and is sold in a 3.0 oz. tube.
Rembrandt Intense Stain Dissolving Strips have a suggested retail of $24.99. There are 56 teeth whitening strips in a box.
The image above is after 2 1/2 weeks of use. The Rembrandt Intense Stain Toothpaste foamed well, had a pleasant minty taste, and did not irritate my husband’s gums or teeth. The Rembrandt Intense Stain Dissolving Strips were nice in the fact that they were fully absorbable, no need to remove strips of plastic like with Crest.
My spouse found it easiest to be in front of a mirror to put on the strips. Otherwise, he would sometimes get them stuck to his lip and then the product would tear. You want to make sure you have dry fingers and try not to have moisture on your lips.
The individual strips are packaged in foil pouches. The instructions say to tear along the long top side, but we found it difficult to remove the product this way. There are notches on the bottom of the two short sides. If you remove the two short sides and the one long side, it does wonders on the removal process of the strip from the packaging. We thought this product worked well to remove superficial stains, like from the coffee, red wine, and smoking mentioned with this product.
