Thankfully I haven’t had to battle nausea probably since dealing with what I think was a flu bug from a few years ago. I do have a child that when traveling in the vehicle and making our way down windy roads or up/down long car ramps, gets nauseous from motion sickness.
A natural way to fight nausea is to ingest ginger and that is just one of its many benefits. Reed’s Inc. makes an assortment of ginger-packed treats for your tummy woes.
Reed’s Ginger Chews contain real ginger root wrapped as a candy. It is available in Reed’s Original and Peanut Butter Ginger Chews.
The candies are soft and chewy. They both start off tasting sweet in their respected flavors and then have a bit of the tangy flavor as it travels over your taste buds.
Reed’s Ginger Chews are gluten free and there are about nine pieces per box. The chews can be purchased as a 20 pack box or 11 lb. bulk.
If you are looking for something refreshing in a liquid form, Reed’s Original Ginger Brew has 17 grams of fresh ginger root per bottle and Reed’s Extra Ginger Brew boasts 26 grams of fresh ginger per bottle. A new Reed’s Stronger Ginger Brew is available in a 7 oz. bottle which has 50% more ginger than the Extra Ginger Brew.
The Original Ginger Brew was Reed’s first creation. It is a Jamaican recipe for homemade ginger ale using 17 grams of fresh ginger root, lemon, lime, honey, cane sugar, pineapple, herbs and spices.
I think Reed’s Ginger Brew tastes refreshing and is unique in flavor compared to other commercial ginger ales I have tried. There are flavored brews available from Reed’s too, liked Spiced Apple and Raspberry Ginger Brew. The ginger brews are available in 12 and 24 packs plus a 750 ml bottle.
Reed’s Crystallized Ginger is made with fresh baby ginger root, raw cane sugar, and nothing else! It crystallizes into soft, delicious nuggets that are perfect for any road trip. They are provided in healthy sized chunks so I like to cut them down and jazz up the flavor in my ginger cookies too.
A Chocolate Covered Crystallized Ginger is also available from Reed’s. I received a 3.5 oz. bag, but it does go up in sizes to 11 lb. bulk.
