The Hub Network Presents the Series Premiere Episode of
“Parents Just Don’t Understand”
Saturday, August 23 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT
I recently viewed two screener episodes of “Parents Just Don’t Understand” and I hope you will get a chance to catch this new series as it premieres on Hub Network this Saturday, August 23. Joey Fatone of ‘N Sync is the host of this series.
Joey has previewed videos from kids (two episodes I saw were from early teens) who feel there lives are harder than their parents. That alone opens a can of worms! Anyway, this reality series switches the duties of a parent and their kid for a day and is unscripted. The kid goes to work, the parent goes to school, football practice, whatever is normally part of their day.
The premiere episode will be “The Touchdown Maker and Cupcake Baker”. A mom of five switches places with her 13-year-old son. The son works on the railroad, takes care of his siblings, makes meals, and is to provide food for the football coaches that afternoon. Stay tuned as mayhem unfolds. The mom takes on chores, a science project with her son’s friends, and football practice, a trooper through it all. This series will also feature swaps of a teenage ballerina and her feisty single-mom, a roller derby devotee and her princess-loving mom, also a single-dad who takes on his son’s loaded athletic schedule. “Parents Just Don’t Understand” seems like a great series for the entire family to enjoy together.
“Parents Just Don’t Understand” on Saturday, August 23 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT with musician and TV personality, Joey Fatone (‘N Sync, “Rewrapped”), as the host. The unique reality series gives real kids and their parents a chance to find out what it feels like to be in the other person’s shoes. Fatone also serves as an executive producer of the series, along with Christian Sarabia, Rabih Gholam, Bicha Gholam, Nicole M. Reed and Allegra Newman. Cindy Nemes and Michael Wilder serve as co-executive producers. The 22-episode series will be produced by Endemol’s 51 Minds Entertainment for the Hub Network.
