I love having inspirational books out on the coffee table and on the nightstand to help bring on personal reflection, a silver lining to a hectic day, or to simply help prompt prayer. Thomas Nelson is releasing six books as a series titled Pocket Prayers. They are from best-selling author Max Lucado.
Each volume has 40 simple prayers. There is a book for dads, moms, teachers, military families, graduates, and friends. Mr. Lucado wrote Pocket Prayers for Moms and Pocket Prayers for Grads with daughter Andrea Lucado, Pocket Prayers for Dads and Pocket Prayers for Military Life with Mark Mynheir, Pocket Prayers for Teachers with blogger Jennifer Hale, and Pocket Prayers for Friends with Betsy St. Amant.
The Pocket Prayers books are perfect for frequent reading at home or even to take on the go with you in your purse. I am sort of a “prayer wimp” like Mr. Lucado explains. My thoughts can go here and there when I should be more focused. Pocket Prayers helps give my thoughts more direction.
