I love crafts of all kinds and with young children, it’s even better when they can also take part. I was sent Liquid Chalkers™ last month to review. They are designed for the entire family to use.
To use Liquid Chalkers™, you want to shake the marker and then depress the tip gently. Then hold until it starts the flow into the tip and coats the tip. They are nontoxic and have a light scent that is pleasant. I was sent a Liquid Chalkers™ White 4 Pack and Vibrant Set of 8 Colors (green, purple, red, orange, pink, yellow, blue, and white).
Since they arrived before Halloween, I thought my oldest would like helping to create a wall hanging. We used Liquid Chalkers™ just on the ghost to see how they would work with wood since it is porous and this product works best with non-porous surfaces. Depending upon the grain of the wood, it absorbed a little more or less, but I still liked the finished appearance.
Liquid Chalkers™ are labeled to be perfect for mirrors, windshields, whiteboards, glass windows, ceramics, and other non-porous surfaces. Here are my kids playing on our picture window at night.
They had a blast!
I had some glass jars that I was meaning to label. I had purchased Con-Tact Self-Adhesive Covering Chalk Board to put labels on them. I used Liquid ™ to write the contents on the jars.
Or how about a little love note to your spouse/significant other before they go off to work or bed?
I think Liquid ™ spur creativity and provide wholesome fun. To create your desired look, it is recommended to test on a small section before using Liquid Chalker on a large surface. To clean off this brand of liquid chalk, simply wipe off with a wet cloth or tissue. I had good luck with just a dry paper towel on the non-porous surfaces I wanted to clean too.
Liquid Chalkers™ are available on Amazon.com or liquidchalkers.com. The Vibrant Set of 8 Colors is $18.99 and White 4 Pack is about $12.95. Both have a 6 mm chisel tip. You can also buy the white singly and there is a 4 pack of the colors available on liquidchalkers.com. Paper and Twin Liquid Chalkers™ are made in China. This is crazy, but they have a 365 day money back guarantee!
This type of chalk is dustless and almost free of causing runs. My middle child managed to press the tip in too long and we experienced a few runs that way, but otherwise run-free. They have hyper pigmentation that creates colors that are beautiful and vibrant.
My middle child used the chalk markers while in her school clothes and got the product on her sleeves. No luck getting it out so make sure you used Liquid Chalkers™ with clothes you don’t mind getting stains on, otherwise they create lots of fun!

“Very Important Note – CHALKBOARDS, CHALKBOARD PAINT & Liquid Chalk
Like all liquid chalk products, Liquid Chalkers are designed to be used on non-porous surfaces (surfaces that do not easily absorb liquid). While regular chalk will work on chalkboard paint (although it leaves a dusty mess), all liquid chalk seep into porous surfaces and can be difficult to remove. Unfortunately, chalkboards/blackboards and surfaces coated in chalkboard paint can vary considerably in how porous they are. If your chalkboard has a glass, metal, sealed ceramic (not raw pottery) or plastic backing and wasn’t painted in absorbent paint then it is likely non-porous and the liquid chalk will wipe off. If you’re unsure, please check the next point about testing.
One of the reasons we offer a 100% money back guarantee is so that if they do not work on the surface you wish to use them on (assuming you don’t get addicted to having heaps of fun using them on other non-porous surfaces such as windows, mirrors or your fridge), you can receive a full refund for your purchase.
Special Instructions – Always Test – Important!
Be sure to check EVERY surface you are going to use the Chalker on by first using it on a tiny corner to make sure it will wipe off. To test, please make several marks – wipe one off immediately, one in an hour and one the following day. These markers are specially formulated so they will wipe off most NON-POROUS surfaces easily with a damp cloth. This makes them perfect for things like mirrors, metal, whiteboards, windows, sealed ceramics, black vinyl contact, chalkboard contact paper etc. You will have a tougher time getting them off porous surfaces like brick, wooden walls, concrete etc.
If you do accidentally use liquid chalk on a porous surface many have found that Mr Clean Magic Erasers or Clorox wipes combined with some water are very effective for removing the liquid chalk.”
Disclosure: I received Liquid Chalkers to facilitate an honest review. No other compensation was received for this post.
