Last month we had some fun with a new product from Old Orchard. They now have drink mixers, which are available in three varieties: Strawberry Daiquiri, Piña Colada, and Margarita. Mixers are great to have on hand for entertaining or just relaxing at home. It’s convenient to have them in the freezer and to just remove when needed.
Old Orchard Mixers! can be made with or without alcohol. To make, just add ice and water or alcohol, blend and serve. Each plastic can will make six drinks. Like Old Orchard’s frozen juice, the plastic cans are leak-proof, microwaveable, and recyclable.
My personal favorite among the three flavors was strawberry daiquiri. I made the mixers with alcohol, but I think you could easily blend in frozen or fresh fruit of your choice too.
It took me a bit to sample to Piña Colada since my friends and spouse are not big fans of coconut. I don’t mind it though and thought this mixer was refreshing.
Old Orchard Mixers! are available at Walmart locations throughout Minnesota for $1.89 each and can be found in the frozen foods aisle with the frozen juice concentrates.
