I had the opportunity to try and review a 30 day supply of NuShape by NuSirt Sciences, which has now come to an end. During my usage of the product, I was pretty consistent with taking as directed, two tablets in the morning and two tablets in the evening. It was suggested to take the evening tablets two-three hours before bedtime, which can vary for me so it took a bit of planning.
I love that this supplement is as it says, side-effect free. There were no moments of feeling jittery or experiencing heart palpitations, like some weight loss supplements can cause, usually containing caffeine.
The active ingredients in NuShape are Vitamin B6 and l-leucine. Vitamin B6 is water soluble so you don’t have to worry about consuming with a meal and the excess is not stored in your body, it is excreted out. Vitamin B6 is very important for optimal metabolism and producing energy. L-leucine is not made by the body and so it must be consumed in foods/supplements. It is called an essential amino acid.
One other important factor for optimal results with NuShape is 15 minutes of moderate exercise per day. This means when exercising at a moderate level, you should be able to talk, but it should be slightly difficult. I had a hart time with this component. This April in Minnesota wasn’t as warm as the past few years so I purchased Tony Horton’s 10-Minute Trainer on DVD. I was surprised that I actually liked it. I figured it would come close to the 15 minutes due to the additional time for warm up and cool down beyond the workout. I am not an early morning riser and so with not waking before my kids do, I had to try and do a workout during the day when my kids were occupied with something else, or so I thought.
Once I got going with the video, my two youngest children thought they should check-up or join in on what I was doing. I then had a kid crawling between my legs or hanging on my arms when I was trying to do moves like the warrior pose. To some, maybe this would make the workout more interesting or challenging. To me, frustrated. I gave up on making it a routine after a few days. There were some nice days during the trial where I would take the kids out in the stroller and walk at a vigorous pace to chalk up as my daily exercise. I tried to keep my meals as clean and unprocessed as possible.
Even though I only did half of what was required for optimal weight loss with NuShape, I did drop six pounds and articles in my closet fit better or are loose. There are a few pieces of apparel which I could not wear before this trial that I now fit again. I would say for the most part, I have dropped a pants size like the product claims. Clothing brands seem to have different measurements in terms of clothing size.
I did find there are many positive reviews on NuShape’s website and looking at the reviews posted on Amazon.com by consumers, it has 4 out of 5 stars. I think at least the Amazon reviews along with my own results show promise with use of this product. It’s not a magic pill that you can take and feel that the extra pounds are just dropping off you. I am afraid such a product does not exist. You do have to do the work, but I think NuShape can help enhance weight loss results with regular, moderate exercise.
I love that NuShape has no side effects and the tablets are not hard to ingest. There is no strict regimen as far as needing to be consumed with food. Some of the NuShape tablets did fall apart in the bottle so I was grabbing up sections at the end to make a whole.
