Disclosure: I am receiving compensation for my involvement in the #KidsEatWell initiative. The opinions and thoughts are 100% my own.
Last week I got to share this amazing initiative, which is working to make kid’s meal options actually healthy while dining out. It’s great to know that some restaurants are making it possible to avoid the traditional options, like salty French fries, mac ‘n cheese, and chicken nuggets.
A week ago in Chicago, the National Restaurant Association (NRA) held their annual show. Even though I wasn’t able to personally be there, I was able to follow highlights from the day on Twitter. The show featured celebrity chef appearances. Robert Irvine, famous British celebrity chef, was on hand to congratulate the 2014 Kids LiveWell recipe winners last Saturday.
and of course had lots of fun!
