Mrs. Smith’s® Original Flaky Crust Pies Review and Giveaway

I went to a community education class on pie making last year and you know what the instructor said was a secret to a delicious pie crust?  She said it was taking a cheese grater and adding in real butter.  The Mrs. Smith’s® brand recently introduced their new line of Mrs. Smith’s® Original Flaky Crust pies, made with real butter.

I sampled peach and cherry.  Mrs. Smith’s® pies are to be kept frozen until you use them.  To prepare, remove the plastic wrap, place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and make four-six slits to vent the pie.  After about 45 minutes of baking in the oven and then a few hours of cooling, I buttered up my family.

Sorry, I am not the best pie cutter, but they were delicious!
