I recently had the opportunity to view CONCEPTION by Tribeca Film. It will be available nationwide On Demand February 24th, 2012.
This movie starts of with a teacher (David Arquette) trying to tactfully answer where babies come from to a classroom of young children. Then it follows the day of nine different couples to the night of conception. The couples are very different and certainly not all intending conception to be the consequence.
I thought CONCEPTION was fairly humorous. It did play on some serious issues like teen pregnancy and the misconceptions of preventing pregnancy with a couple that were new parents and the wife mentioning that she would not get pregnant because she was breasfeeding. CONCEPTION also features joyful triumphs for a same sex couple and a couple who were doing fertility treatments, also slated to have success with conceiving a child.
There is frontal nudity and strong sexual content. CONCEPTION can provide some light-hearted laughs and allows you to share intimate details with these nine featured couples.
