Moody Bands Review - Central Minnesota Mom

Moody Bands are a new way to help your child recognize and express their emotions. The story behind the creation of Moody bands is truly unique. They were created for two children who experienced a terrible loss, the passing of their mother. Moody Bands helped these children express their feelings and helped to start discussion after going this traumatic event.

I received the full set of Moody Bands for this review. They are 100% embroidered cotton and feel plush and soft. The six bands are: Nervous, Sad, Angry, Excited, Tired, and Happy. Each band has a unique face to express the emotion and each come in a different color.

When Moody Bands came, I had planned to go out to a local fast food restaurant with my kids. My oldest put on the “excited” band. She was “excited” to go out to the establishment to eat and play at their indoor play center. She put on “happy” later that day when we arrived back home.

I think Moody Bands are a great aid to assist a child with expressing their feelings that are associated with emotions. I wouldn’t mind wearing these some days, myself!
