I always like to find the story behind the company when doing reviews and this one has a touching start. Carolyn Harrington, co-founder to Maty’s, began her quest to find natural ways for her daughter to get and stay healthy. In 1996, her daughter, Maty, was born with severe heart defects and without a spleen! Maty had three complex surgeries to repair her heart by the age of five and continued to have medical issues, one being a weakened immune system. Carolyn went on to create a safe and effective line of products called Maty’s All-Natural product line. All Maty’s products are made in the USA.
Maty’s All Natural Vapor Rub is petroleum free. The natural ingredients are: Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Candelila Wax, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Essential Oils of Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Pine, Wintergreen, and Cedar Leaf. 
When Maty’s All Natural Vapor Rub arrived in the mail, my two daughters were getting over a cold. They are 3 and 5 and had been experiencing a non-productive cough. My oldest was fine with having the vapor rub applied on her neck and she was a lot more quiet with coughing during the day. It does not say anywhere that I can tell as far as how often to apply. I applied it twice during the day. Her cough was so rare and non-bothersome after that so I did not continue to apply. My 3-year-old wasn’t fond of having it put on her, don’t know why, but I did sneak a swipe on her neck. I think it quieted her cough down too.
Maty’s All Natural Vapor Rub has a pleasant smell. I can recognize the scents of eucalyptus and peppermint. It has a firm, creamy appearance that was easy to apply and absorbs fairly quickly. Overall, I do think it is effective in naturally opening air passages and helping with the annoying cough.
