My five-year-old has had fun creating with Luco Wood Building Blocks. Some pieces are in a natural wood with others in bright, cheery colors. This set comes with interlocking pieces. There are planks, crosses, long H shape and short H shape bricks. This product is recommended for children ages 3-12.
The included instruction book is done with color pictures, which are nice and has a couple suggested projects broken down by age. A drawstring jute bag is included for storage.
Initially, I thought humidity might play a role in this. Some of the pieces fight together more tightly than others and I had questioned if humidity was to blame or if there is a slight inconsistency in the wood pieces. We have had the AC on and dehumidifier running, which says we are at 40%. I took this set out the other day and found some of the planks still slid in and out easily while others fit tightly. I will have to give this more time for my final verdict.
