My children love going to grandma and grandpa’s and catch the Hub Network since we don’t subscribe to cable or dish in our home.  One of their favorites is My Little Pony and this Saturday, May 10th, Twilight Sparkle has to find her own uniqueness as a princess.

The season finale of “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” is two back-to-back episodes, “Twilight’s Kingdom Part 1 and Part 2”.  There will be a marathon of special episodes from season four beginning at 7:30 a.m. ET/4:30 a.m. PT which will lead up to the finale episodes, which will begin at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT on the Hub Network.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna share a premonition about an evil mysterious creature from the past and turn to a very unlikely source for help, Discord.  In the fear of danger, Princess Twilight Sparkle feels increased pressure to find her true identity with danger looming.  She and her friends must work together and stop this emerging threat before it defeats all of Equestria.

I received a copy of the season finale and watched it with my children.  They all loved it.  It has had a lot of play time.  “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” features friendship, camaraderie, forgiveness, humor, and trust, which are great friendship values.

“My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” features key voice talent including Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman as well as Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball, who both also provide voice to characters of the Hub Network’s “Littlest Pet Shop”. The series is executive produced by Chris Bartleman, Kirsten Newlands and Stephen Davis and was developed for television by Lauren Faust. In addition, this season included composer Daniel Ingram, who was nominated for a Daytime Emmy® Award for his previous work on “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic,” as well as co-executive producers Meghan McCarthy, who also serves as story editor and Jayson Thiessen, who is also the supervising director.

I couldn’t capture this with my camera, but when you press down over hips and make Rainbow Dahs sit down on her rump, let her go and she flips!  She doesn’t always land on her hooves, but the kids have had lots of fun with her and she also says a couple of phrases.Rainbow Dash

Here’s a better look at the rub-on tattoos for Rainbow Dash.
