Little House on the Prairie Season 2 Review and Giveaway

DVD_Ocard_Pack_ShotI feel that I have some great news to share.  Little House on the Prairies Season Two is being released today as a deluxe remastered edition and I get to host giving away a copy too.  đź™‚  Lionsgate Home Entertainment has released it on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD), DVD (plus Digital) and Digital HD.  I received the DVD (plus Digital), which is a 5 disc set and will be the same for the giveaway prize.
 
This new set includes over 20 hours of fully remastered content and all 22 episodes from Season 2, complete and uncut in their original broadcast length.  It also features part two of the new 40th Anniversary celebration documentary, â€śThe Little House Phenomenon: Part Two – In The Beginning…”   The Little House On The Prairie – Season Two Deluxe Remastered Edition Blu-ray and DVD collections will be available for the suggested retail price of $38.99 and $29.98, respectively.
 
My seven-year-old is still enjoying the episodes with my husband and I.  We recently finished viewing the two-part episode, “Remember Me“.  It brought up some discussion with my daughter as why parents sometimes leave before their time and caused me to shed some tears with the Sanderson family story, but don’t worry, it ends on a joyful note.  I look forward to watching the other included episodes soon.
