At the end of last week, Jeff, noted two painted turtles in the yard. I forget how we usually see turtles in June, coming in to lay their eggs. These gals had not been out of the water long before traveling through the yard. They still had live leeches on their shells.
My girls love frogs and worms. Here is a tree frog that they had found a week ago. Both fascinated by the little amphibian.
