Tad, Lily, Leap, and friends decide that their library needs more books so they make use of lemons from the backyard and make lemonade to fund new books. Leap works for the local paper and with the coordination of his boss, decide Tad and Lily’s idea of selling lemonade would also be a great way to teach mathematics and feature as a news story. The idea is well received and members of the community are inspired to also help out the library’s selection at the end.
It has been a while since I have seen a LeapFrog installment and the characters that I remember have a new look in this video, plus the addition of many new faces. My three-year-old son loves to watch this DVD and the songs are cute and catchy.
