I was craving something rich,creamy, and cool with a little kick of coffee the other day and ran across this recipe by Kraft for Cool ‘N Creamy Coffee Freeze.
The ingredients are:
1 cup milk
Ice cubes
1 cup Cool Whip Whipped Topping (do not thaw)
1 pkg. ( 4 serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 Tbsp. Maxwell House Instant Coffee (sorry, only had Folger’s on hand)
Pour milk into 1 qt glass measuring cup. Add enough ice to measure 3 cups. Pour into a blender. Add frozen whipped topping, dry pudding mix and coffee granules. Blend on high until smooth. Pour into four glasses (about 3/4 c. each) and serve immediately.
I thought it was a bit thick and if I made it again, I would probably try it with one additional cup of milk. I had to spoon it out to enjoy immediately after preparing!
