I had never heard this artifact before. Did you know that there is a freshwater boat that was found in the Sea of Galilee and was from the time of Jesus? That is the premise to the documentary The Jesus Boat, Witness to Prophecy.
The Jesus Boat, Witness to Prophecy features a commentary from Franklin Graham, Joel Rosenberg, Jay Sekulow, Skip Heitzig, Chuck Smith, Ken Ortize and more as they share the discovery of this very important item from history. The story starts off with the terrible destruction of Israel in 70 A.D. and showcases the amazing prophecies that tell of Israel’s rebirth that takes place about 2000 years later. These events culminate with the discovery of this first century wooden fishing boat. The Jesus Boat, Witness to Prophecy also shares how those part of the discovery had to overcome hurdles in order to preserve it and then placing it in a museum ironically built before its discovery and only a few hundred yards away.
