Hydro Flask – Hydrate Your Life!

Hydro Flask

Hydration is so important for our overall well-being.  It’s nice to have something to keep beverages portable and appealing so we constantly consume liquids.  Here is a product to keep drinks hot or cold like they are supposed to be.

Hydro Flask got its start in 2009 out in Bend, Oregon.  The founder was on a mission to resolve the issue of lukewarm beverages. He designed the product with double-wall vacuum insulation to keep drinks cool or hot.  The flask works to keep colds cold for up to 24 hours and hots hot for up to 12 hours.  I placed water at 126º Fahrenheit in the Hydro Flask for a little testing and checked it four times during a nine-hour period.  The temperature had changed to 105º, a difference of 21 degrees over that time frame so it was yet warm at the end of the day.

The flasks are made of food grade stainless steel, BPA free, and do not do the messy sweating like some drink containers can in the summer.  Hydro Flasks are reusable and recyclable.   They also feature a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for one hundred years or one lifetime, whichever comes first.

Hydro Flask also wants to give back so they participate with a charitable arm called 5% Back.  Customers are able allocate a portion of the net profit from their flask purchase to a charity of their choice.  A serial number is included on the label to enter online and you can select the charity from the website for the proceeds to go to.Hydro Flask

Hydro Flask also comes in a great assortment of colors.  I received the Hydro Flask in arctic white.  There is also a 12 oz standard mouth flask, food flasks, an 18 oz coffee flask, a 21 oz standard mouth flask, a 40 oz wide mouth flask, and even a hefty 64 oz. beer growler.

The 32 oz. wide mouth flask that I received is new to the product line and is being released tomorrow, May 1.  It will be available in 10 colors in select retail locations across the country and online for $31.99.

To clean your Hydro Flask, wash with hot soapy water before using.  Baking soda or diluted vinegar can also be used.  Do not expose your flask to bleach or chlorine.  This product does best with being air-dried while the lid is off.  Do not use the Hydro Flask on the stove top, microwave, dishwasher, or freezer.  Since this product does a great job keeping liquids hot, keep out of reach from children so they do not get scalded by your beverage.

Hydro Flask is designed in Bend, Oregon and crafted in China at factories that practice social responsibility, fair labor, and strong ethics.
