Alfredo Sauce
8 oz. cream cheese, broken into small pieces
3/4 cup Kraft grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 cup milk or half and half
Combine all ingredients into a saucepan or skillet and heat on medium low.
Stir continuously until mixture is thick and creamy, adding more milk if needed to obtain a desired consistency. Serve over hot, cooked pasta.
I add cooked, chopped broccoli to this dish. My children prefer spaghetti noodles over fettuccine.
Yields: approx. 2 cups
