If you haven’t heard me mention this before, one of my passions is cookbooks. I love trying new recipes and look forward to extra time to try a new dish or dessert with my family.
I have been paging through Jamielyn Nye’s new book, The I Heart Naptime Cookbook: More Than 100 Easy & Delicious Recipes to Make in Less Than One Hour and look forward to trying many of her recipes. The creations included use ingredients I keep on hand and as the title states, they can be made or assembled in less than an hour.
Jamielyn is the founder of a high traffic blog at IHeartNaptime.net and is a mom to three children. She understands the importance of using nap time wisely to get things done, like preparing tasty recipes.
The images used in this book will tantalize your taste buds. Along with scrumptious recipe ideas, Jamielyn has included tips on entertaining and also gift and craft ideas.
Some of the recipes you will find in The I Heart Naptime Cookbook include: Perfect Crepes with Fresh Raspberry Sauce, Fluffy Buttermilk Biscuits, One Pot Cheesy Bacon and Chive Macaroni, Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Peanut Butter Brownie Ice Cream Sandwiches, and Cookies and Cream Cupcakes. Some of the recipes are also freezer friendly so if you have time on the weekend, but not so much on the weeknight, you can have items made and ready to go ahead of time.
The I Heart Naptime Cookbook came out September 8 and is available in hardcover. It has a suggested retail of $28.00.
