My oldest has a want like Jesse, the young girl in Healed by Grace 2: Ten Days of Grace – a horse. Jesse has requested a horse for her 15th birthday. Around this time, her mother, Brandy, receives some concerning news from her doctor and has a health issue to deal with at hand.
Jesse’s dad tries to get the next best thing for Jesse and works on enrolling her in a horse camp kind of last minute. He is unsuccessful in finding an opening. Her dad then gets the idea of approaching a horse trainer named Gauff. Gauff is Brandy’s estranged father. Jesse’s dad tells Brandy that Jesse has gone to horse camp and not to Gauff’s.
Jesse is to stay a couple weeks with Gauff while her dad and mom address her mom’s health. She is quickly paired with a horse that was surrendered to Gauff and given the name of Grace (“Saving Grace”).
Things are going well until Brandy finds out that Jesse is not truly at a horse camp. She leaves with her husband to pick up Jesse immediately.
With some hesitation, Brandy accepts an apology seeking forgiveness from Gauff and allows Jesse to stay. This heartwarming family film is out on digital and will be out on DVD 9/18/18.
