GreenPan Fry Pan Giveaway

We work so hard to provide healthy meals for ourselves and our families, but how much time do we give to consider what we cook in as being healthy or not?  I wanted to share information with you today on an eco-friendly ceramic cookware called GreenPan.

GreenPan was launched in 2007 and is owned by the Cookware Company.  It has patent Thermolon non-stick technology, which is heat resistant with even high temperatures.  The technology of these pans allows the heat to distribute more effectively and so even meats cook more quickly.  If you overheat your pan, toxic fumes will not be released and the coating will not blister or peel.  

Low to medium heat is recommended for most cooking with GreenPan.  Oils with a high smoke point (grapeseed, canola, peanut, etc) or butter are recommended for cooking.  GreenPan should be cleaned with warm soapy water, rinsed, and wiped with a soft towel, not cleaned in your dishwasher.  

GreenPan products are cadmium and lead free.  They are also free of harmful PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)or PFOA (Perflueoroctoanoic acid, also known as C8).   Used materials like stainless steel and aluminum are upcycled into handles and cookware bodies for GreenPan.

    i would love to win this for one of my 4 (grown and recently moved out) kids. they moved out and took half my stuff with them! these pans are great-thanks for such a useful giveaway!

    For my son. He’s just getting into cooking and most of my pots are crowd size which he doesn’t like. I think the larger size pots really deters him form trying out a small recipe on a whim. Plus, I really like the healthier cooking with the the greenpan.
