Well, tackled a little Halloween craft with my girls yesterday that I just wanted to share. Just a simple one with some black construction paper, toilet paper tubes, black paint, googly eyes, and added some sparkle with sparkly fibers/glitter. I hot glued the wings to the body, closed up the end of the tubes, and to attach the googly eyes to hopefully give a little longevity.

I cut the bat wings out freehand so they all were slightly different

I sprayed a 3M general adhesive onto the wings and let the girls sprinkle on some sparkly fibers
Project completed
They took flight and landed to rest in Layne and Jayden’s room over their curtain rods
The girls and I had fun creating them. The only thing with the sparkly fibers I chose to use, I had a trail of it from where the bats had traveled in the house.
