I had received two little characters that are part of Gogo’s Crazy Bones. The inspiration behind Gogo’s came from ancient Greece. Children bounced and threw sheep knuckle bones in ancient times. Thank goodness we have evolved! Gogo’s are like marbles and jacks with a modern twist.
I received Mr. Peako on the left, who’s favorite game is battle. You and your opponent line up your Gogo characters and throw your Gogo one at a time to try down to knock down others from your opponent’s line.
On the right is Targy, who is good at the game of basket – try to bounce and get in a box from an agreed upon distance. There are seven games listed here and how to play: http://na.gogoscrazybones.com/about/how-to-play/. Gogo’s Crazy Bones are to be a way for a child to learn math with keeping score, reading, and creativity.
For some reason my daughter felt Targy needed to got on a special mission the other day and sent him down the vent of our air conditioner. We haven’t figured out how to retrieve Targy from the murky depths of the machine yet.
Gogo’s Crazy Bones are available at: Walgreens’s, Walmart, ToysRUs, Target, Big Lots, Learning Express, Mastermind Toys, Five Below, The Paper Store, Permed, Caramagica.com, and Olympia Sports.
Gogo’s Crazy Bones are recommended for children ages 4 and above. They feel like they are made of a hard plastic. The small size would make them a choking hazard. They are about 1″ tall. Each Gogo character has it’s own unique name, personality, and special ability. Each figurine comes with an individual number stamped on it for collecting.

I had received information about a new line by JDNA called Scabs. They are to be used for mending clothing or personalizing items like bags, purses, water bottles, etc. Scabs are permanent stick-on fabric patches. They can even just serve as a way to ID your child’s items.
This is a Gogo’s Scab, but there are many designs available. There are even Write On Scabs that you or your child can write on with permanent ink. I like the Scabs to help raise awareness of anti-bullying.
Scabs do not need heat to be applied. Just peel off the backing, press firmly to clothing or other surface. Rub with firm pressure, especially around the edges. To maximize the adhesion of the Scab to the clothing, immediately tumble dry on low heat for 10 minutes. After application to clothing, it is best to wash with clothes inside out in cold water and not to wash for 24 hours after application.
Scabs may be customized for schools, churches, sports teams or just a group that wants to increase their notability in the community. It’s another way of unique advertising. Grab A Scab Inc. also has a fundraising program available to help earn money for your organization.
Disclosure: I received samples of Gogo’s Crazy Bones and Grab A Scab for this review. No other compensation was received. The thoughts and feelings expressed are my own.
