Ghoster came out last month by Lionsgate. It has a run time of 91 minutes and is rated PG for peril and thematic elements.
Ghoster is the ghost of a little boy who once lived in Echoville Manor and has been trapped in it since he died. Elizabeth and her dad had inherited Echoville Manor and discovered this friendly little ghost With the help of the property caretaker, and his son, Mateo, they seek out a key to then unlock a magical painting in Echoville Manor. Unlocking the painting leads them then to unique puzzles that they must solve to break the spell to free Ghoster and free the souls of Ghoster’s ancestors.
This film reminds me a little of Casper the Friendly Ghost. It is family-friendly and has a bit of mystery and intrigue to it. It is based on a story by Jerom Reygner-Kalfon and Sebastien Semon.
Cast includes Sophie Proctor (Washington’s Armor), J.R. Brown (The Adventures of A.R.I: My Robot Friend), Josh Escayg (Young Agents), Rachel G. Whittle (“The Purge), David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place”).
